Louisiana Auctioneers Association 2016 Convention Details:
Ms. Lois Zielinkski - NAF Administrator gave an outline of the continuing education classes offered at the NAA 2016 convention, requirements of CE, micro credits and online opportunities. USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) was discussed to help further career opportunities in the appraisal realm of an auctioneer's portfolio.
Jessica Cason gave an overview of new website changes upcoming marketing strategies for the LAA and its members in the 2016-2017 year. New Business, Old Business and the Financial Statements were presented. We raised

The Louisiana Auctioneers Association (LAA) is a state wide association dedicated to improving professionalism in the auction industry and promoting the auction method of marketing. New Pending Laws on Continuing Education for 2016 make attending our annual LAA Convention imperative for Louisiana Auctioneers! Our annual convention takes place the first weekend in June every year at the Paragon Casino and Resort Conference Center in Marksville, LA.

And the more CORRECT knowledge you get, the more Professional you become. Develop and promote the highest standards of ethical business practices. Contribute to the progress and advancement of lawful actions.
3) Increase Business/Network – There we go again with that word “Network”. Meet others in your profession that are as passionate as you. The more we get to know others in our profession, the more we learn and can pass on to our clients or receive referrals from others in the Association.
